Shed & Barn Demolition
Aging sheds and barns stop being useful and start being eyesores. Roofs sag, frames rot, metal rusts through, hurricane damage adds up, and the structure goes from “storage” to “safety hazard.”
Our Bay County demolition crew clears outbuildings of every size and kind – from small backyard sheds in Lynn Haven to full-size pole barns out near Fountain – and hauls every piece off so your property is clean and usable again.

Tearing Down Sheds, Barns, and Outbuildings
Outbuildings of Every Size and Type
From a 10×10 garden shed to a 60-foot livestock barn, we scope each demolition around the specific structure and the lot it sits on. Smaller wood or metal sheds usually come down quickly with hand tools and a skid steer; larger pole barns and reinforced outbuildings need heavier equipment and more careful sequencing to keep the work zone safe. Either way, we plan around fences, landscaping, neighboring structures, and any utilities running to or near the building.
Coastal and Inland Considerations
Bay County outbuildings vary a lot by location. Coastal sheds and detached garages in Panama City Beach, Mexico Beach, and Upper Grand Lagoon tend to be metal or hurricane-built and often involve raised foundations and corrosion. Inland barns, pole structures, and workshops in Fountain, Youngstown, and along the rural pockets of the county are usually larger, wood-framed, and may sit on concrete pads or earth floors. Our crew handles both ends of the spectrum.

Shed & Barn Demolition FAQs
Do I need a permit to demolish a shed or barn in Bay County?
It depends on the size and type of structure and where it’s located. Smaller backyard sheds often don’t require a permit, while larger barns, pole structures, and outbuildings on permanent foundations typically do. We’ll walk you through what applies to your specific address before we start.
What kinds of outbuildings do you handle?
Wood sheds, metal sheds, pole barns, livestock barns, equipment buildings, detached garages, carports, workshops, and aging outbuildings of nearly every kind. Storm-damaged and partially collapsed structures are no problem.
How long does shed or barn demolition take?
Most backyard sheds come down in a few hours. Larger barns, pole structures, and outbuildings with concrete foundations take longer because there’s more to dismantle and haul. Call us with your address and we’ll give you a project-specific timeline.
What about the concrete pad or foundation?
Pad and foundation removal can be included with the demolition or kept separate, depending on what you want for the lot. If you’re rebuilding on the same footprint, we can leave the pad. If you want a fully cleared lot, we’ll break it up and haul it.
What happens to all the debris?
Hauling and disposal are part of our quote. We load and remove every piece of the structure and dispose of materials at the appropriate facility, recycling metal, salvageable wood, and concrete where possible.
Can you also haul away the contents of the shed or barn?
Yes. Old equipment, tools, stored junk, and accumulated material inside the structure can all be hauled as part of the project. Tell us during the walkthrough what stays and what goes and we’ll scope it together.
